Caveat— In order to account for rooftop equipment, the fit will be necessarily loose. If even the slightest amount of dirt or debris gets under the cover, the cover flapping in the wind will cause said dirt to work like sandpaper on the finish of your Interstate. The cover will also trap condensation, unless you can find one made of Gore-Tex— which I've never seen for any vehicle, let alone a Sprinter.

A good wash-and-wax before putting your Airstream Interstate away for the winter, along with a windshield/front window cover to keep UV sunlight off your dashboard, should do a better job of protecting your investment than will the cover you're looking to buy.

Not to mention how hard it is to put a cover on these beasts.

Thanks for the info. Your reasons for not putting on a cover is exactly why I have yet to put a cover on. I just devolved a few leaks in the side large windows. I don't like leaks. Caught it right away so no issues but need to repair ASAP. Not sure if the side windows is something that I can take care of myself.

I would also skip the cover, for the reasons already stated.

Any auto body shop should have access to a material they call "crash wrap" which is a heavy-duty cling film that can be used to cover windows, overlapping onto the metal around them. For temporary repair of leaks while your Interstate is in storage and waiting on new windows, crash wrap should be adequate.

Our cover has four walls, a spring-loaded roll-up door, and a fifteen foot roof, but that's a personal preference that has been discussed on other threads.
