I am sure it cost money to put one together but so does the Interstate and all the warranty calls because uninformed users are screwing up.

Folks, most people don't have the time, talent or money to produce a useful video but at an asking price of $145.000.00 + Airstream certainly does. Dosn't matter what the price tag would be they would only pass it onto the consumer anyway. Airstream knows this is a complicated vehicle (for those of us who are not engineers and obviously understand everything that Airstream puts into print) and I am somewhat aggravated it has to be this complicated. Just a thought.

P.S.

Thanks to all of you engineer types out there who help me understand this great vehicle.

Every camper is complex - just look around the forums. They are essentially an entire house crammed into a relatively small space. Some people grew up around campers and need no introduction, other than to the nuances of this particular one. Other people are brand new and need more direction. Your dealer should be able to answer all of your questions; they should be experts on the vehicles.

A video would be nice, maybe. In the past, videos I've gotten for other things, like a car, have been completely useless and a waste of money.

It CAN be done; just look at these videos: RV How To Videos | The #1 RV Video Education training Source RV 101®

Not a single one of the videos on this site is Airstream-specific, but if these guys can do it, so could Airstream. Or parent company Thor, which has somewhat deeper pockets and could hire audiovisual professionals for their entire line, not just Airstreams.
