"Chipping" the Interstate

I have been looking for a way to improve the performance of my 2013 Interstate. The cost of the RENN Tune puts it outside of my comfort zone, so I have been looking at chip tuning modules. At the moment I have narrowed the field to the Race Chip Pro 2, InMotion, and ChipExpress.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these — or have other recommendations? Any advice or suggestions you have to offer are welcome.

I used one of these performance enhancers on my 2002 E320 Estate (station wagon in the US) straight six turbo diesel in the UK and picked up economy and power.

http://www.chipexpress.com/

They will ship to the US.

Via a PM I could explain other mods to other vehicles.

RennTech ECU reprogramming ain't cheap, that's for sure, but for me at least, there is one advantage. My local MB Sprinter dealer is an authorized RennTech service center, too. That kind of gives it the Mercedes Benz seal of approval, and I can be pretty sure they won't reset it to factory original when I take my Interstate in for service.

Unfortunately according to RENNTech my nearest dealer is 4.5 hours away over my choice of the first or second most dangerous roads in the state of Texas.

A good friend of mine recommends Joe at Dynotronics. He has used Joe for a lot of race car stuff. He assured me it would be less than Renntech. I have not used them myself but I do know they have a great reputation in the motorsports community.
Dynotronics Tuning - ECU Tuning | Flashing | Remapping | Chip Tuning | From Mazda to Kawasaki and More

Any competent shop should be able to pull your ECU to send it off to Renntech (or the tuner of your choice) to be reprogrammed. Still makes me nervous though!
