I don't think they could have hidden it better if that is what they were shooting for. I set adjustment to 9 so I will see how that works.
Keep your eye on the awning in windy conditions. If it is not sensitive enough to retract in stiff wind gusts you could incur some expensive damage. Last year I adjusted mine from the factory setting of 5 to 7. I'm very happy with that setting. Now it doesn't retract when I close the sliding door but does retract when a decent gust hits it.
