I had my mechanic do it, but I was there for part of the process. In my 2012 the wire comes in and turns to the drivers side, then runs above the cabinets all the way down the roof line to the front of the vehicle. Airstream told him it connected through the cabinet with all the electrical stuff on the curb side . . . it didn't. Pulling the new wire from the back to the front above those cabinets required a lot of skill, persistence, luck and a lack of fear. If it were up to me to make the repair I'd try and find a wireless camera. Mine was under warranty and Airstream paid him for the repair. I think it was 6 or 7 hours of labor (at a shop that charges $90/hour).
