Thanks! I mostly stay within 2 or 3 hundred miles from home, so I wasn't too worried. I was pleasantly surprised to see 12.6 MPG on my first 250 miles home.

It has a Mitchell High/low transfer case thing between the tranny and the rear end. I've read it gives me a higher overall gear ratio while cruising. I've only owned this thing a couple days, but it's fun so far!Click image for larger version

That's not a transfer case but rather an overdrive unit. Should help on the mpg as long as it doesn't lug the engine but w/ the 7.4 that shouldn't happen at hwy speeds.

Dated Response:
In 1989, Okanagan built the first-year Airstream B190s, before they moved production to the mid west. Ours has the 351 with 35,000 miles. It was in storage for most of its life. We have updated the entire interior and cleaned up the exterior We love ours!

Here's a manual from Airstream's site. Note the designation 1989-BV-OM which probably stands for Okanagan Manufacturers
