Bike rack for 2007 Interstate

Hello,

Post number one from an owner of a new 2007 Interstate purchased two months ago. Still trying to get her outfitted with all the gear. I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a bike rack for two bikes. It has a hitch but also has the Continental Tire Kit that sticks out 12" from the center of hitch pin. The other rack that interests me is a Fiamma 200 DJ. I like the idea of hugging the bikes up to the back but I have concerns about which model as there are two, one before 06/06 and one for after that date. Even though my Sprinter was built in August '06 I still think I require the before 06/06 as the model change wasn't introduced into the US until '07. BWDIK I also am clueless if it will fit above the tire kit.

I am wondering if anyone has a bike rack or the Fiamma Bike rack for their Interstate with the Continental Tire kit. TIA

I have narrowed my choice down to these two racks.

Thule T2

StowAway2 Rainier

With the Thule T2 I might need a hitch extension. With the StowAway Rainier I can drive to their shop in Lake Oswego and they will build a custom length to fit my needs. That is a pretty nice service. The Thule is sold by the RackAttack who were very helpful in providing measurements from the T2 they had in their shop. I may end up hitting RackAttack in Portland and then going to Lake O and see which one fits my situation the best.

I had a Yakima hated it , bikes rubbed each other pain to get bikes on and off.That Thule looks the same way

Bought a $200.00 Swagman 4 bike rack love it easy to get any bike on and off no matter if girls bike boys bike no worries
