Bathroom Fan Exhaust Leak

Has anyone had any problems with the bathroom fan exhaust leaking around the housing? Our unit will be going back into the shop on the 25th to have the leak fixed for the 3rd time. It seems that after the exhaust fan is pushed up a couple of times it will begin to leak the next time it rains. Not sure if there is a permanent fix or if there is a replacement type unit.

More than likely, it has not been correctly repaired. My guess is that the bracket was screwed on using a powerdrill, and they cracked the flat housing, so when the put more sealant on it, it won't stay sealed because it moves, literally, with the wind.

To repair it correctly, you need to remove the sealant, inspect the screws and holes in the plastic and reseal it.
