Any experiance with children (in booster seats) and travelling in a B190. Looking for suggestions on securing the seats to the sofa or if this is just not a good idea...Thnaks

sideways seating is not a good idea in any case and especially for children in booster seats.

In not safe at all, but I'm not sure what the rules for a motor home are?

I'm no expert, but I think the biggest need for bigger kids is proper positioning of the shoulder belt (on the shoulder, not the neck). Our kids, when over 5 or so..., have always ridden on our interstate sofa with no booster, and the lap belt fits securely. I would think that a booster might introduce problems when seated sideways, but again I'm just speculating.

In many states, seat belts (believe it or not) are not required for anyone but the driver and front seat passenger. Sideways seat belts carry a different risk of injury than those in forward facing seats, but they do keep the occupants from flying around the inside of the vehicle in a collision; the most common cause of accident injury and deaths.

I'd think that the sideways lap belts would be better than nothing.
