Antenna Issue

First thanks again to the folks that contribute to the forum it helped in the purchase of our 2013 AI Lounge. On our first outing and having a great time.

We can't seem to get any reception on either TV with the antenna. I checked cables turned on the booster just static. Besides the connection up top which at the moment I can't get too is it possible I am missing something basic? The DVD works and I hooked my I pad up to the HDMI and it works great.

Thanks
Ken

Have you checked the TV input? There is usually a choice for cable or Antenna. Sounds like you are on cable, not antenna.

Are you in a place with no signal? We get that from time to time depending on where we are.

This kind of antenna only works if you are close to the TV station/metropolitan areas. Anything outside of that and you will get zero reception. Test it when in town and if it still does not work, then it may be a wire/amplifier issue.

Try these steps first.

1) Need to be in area with TV stations, usually within 30-40 miles.
2) Turn on Antenna booster.
3) In TV setup menu make sure in "Over the Air" mode.
4) Run Auto Channel Scan in Setup Menu.

Then if still no results you may have a connector problem.

My 2013 is simply amazing at pulling in TV stations when I thought there were none around us.

If you're using the antenna, then make sure the booster in the compartment above the driver is switched on. Then each TV needs to be set up for antenna (not cable). Then start auto tune and see if it locates any stations.

AI uses an omni-directional antenna.
