Question Another electrical question

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Interstate is now in winter storage with shore power and a trickle charger on the chassis battery. I visited it yesterday to check on tire pressure (the dealer over-pressurized them) and noticed I could not turn on any of the interior LED lights. Note - I could see power on the microwave. The side door battery switch is in the up position and the one under the drivers side back seat is in the middle position.

Is a fuse/circuit breaker blown or is there some other obvious switch I am overlooking?

Thanks,
-Robert

A very obvious switch, your main disconnect.

Fun facts to know and tell, the 120vAC side works even with the main battery disconnect turned off, because all that needs to be on are the 120vAC circuit breakers. You apparently have the breakers turned on and the main disconnect turned off.

And you shouldn't need a trickle charger for your chassis battery if your BIM (Battery Isolation Module) is functioning properly.

Also you really need a battery maintainer instead of a trickle charger for long term battery maintenance in other applications.

Not sure if this is applicable, however there is a current Service Bulletin on AI's to replace the battery disconnect switch to prolong the life of the batteries charge.

Thanks folks for your help. Just to be sure I'm wrapping my head around this correctly and to pass AS Sprinter Electrical 0.101 :

1. The Main (manual) Disconnect is under the drivers rear jumper seat.

2. It has 3-positions - off, on, in-between.

3. The remote disconnect is by the side door. It only works when the main disconnect is in the in-between position(?). The disconnect switch must be engaged to feed the distribution panel.

Is there a way to have stickies on this forum to highlight the basics for newbies?
