Satellite remains non-viable for casual users. About a $1,200 minimum contract for the most basic level of service. It would only make financial sense for users in fixed locations with no other options.

And at the rate Elon Musk is going, we are still years away from having a next-gen swarming satellite system. He's apparently too busy calling random people pedophiles to put cars on the road or satellites in orbit.
