AI needs brake pads!

I've got 55K on my current brakes and they have 5mm left on the pads.

So, I've started to get some estimates to have them replaced.

For those of you that have replaced your AI pads, how much did you pay to have that done?

Also, does the 2014 MB need to have the pad sensors replaced as well?

One wheel shop gave me a price of $450 but added that if it needed sensors there would be an additional cost!

Thanks in Advance!

Mark

Pads and rotors on the Sprinter wear in tandem. From my reading on this and other forums it is not advisable to replace the pads only. You may want to do a search to see what others say.

Thanks sebtown for giving me a heads up to view other threads for the need to replace both pads and rotors with the AI!

I was operating from a car owners mindset and getting the pads done before you wear grooves into the rotors!

For those of you have replaced your pads & rotors, what’s the ballpark costs to have OEM parts installed?

I read that possibly freight liner OEM parts are less costly than MB?
Anyone find that to be true?
