You only get that "agreed on price" if it sells. I got bit by that a few years back and will never consign a vehicle that way again. I found out the dealer had been asking an insane amount for it because he was trying to make as much as he could. After 6 months of not being sold he had the nerve to call me and tell me to come pick it up because he didn't want it on his lot anymore. When I got there he wouldn't even see me because he knew I was gonna kick his ass. Not only had it not sold, but I got to eat another 6 months of depreciation.
Anyway, be VERY careful with consigning a vehicle. Personally I would only recommend a flat fee consignment with mutually agreed SELLING price. Once bitten....
