Advice on Selling Interstate

Folks,

It's time to sell our 2015 Interstate EXT. We are the original owner and do not plan on replacing it with anything in the near future. It has 8600 miles on it.

What's the best way to sell it? Online sites, consignment with a dealer, etc.
How would I go about establishing a value/sales price?

It's in great shape and I want to get the most out of it that I can. Just wondering what success others have had selling theirs.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Good place to get started re. a selling price is NadaGuides:

Good news is Airstreams hold their value better than most other brands.

Best luck.

As I previously posted on a similar thread, I got the most calls from my Craig's List ad and sold it thru that ad.

Consigned mine to a dealer to sell it. We agreed on a price, and he kept whatever was above and beyond that price. So, I knew how much I was gonna get for it upfront. Took him almost 2 months to sell it.

You only get that "agreed on price" if it sells. I got bit by that a few years back and will never consign a vehicle that way again. I found out the dealer had been asking an insane amount for it because he was trying to make as much as he could. After 6 months of not being sold he had the nerve to call me and tell me to come pick it up because he didn't want it on his lot anymore. When I got there he wouldn't even see me because he knew I was gonna kick his ass. Not only had it not sold, but I got to eat another 6 months of depreciation.

Anyway, be VERY careful with consigning a vehicle. Personally I would only recommend a flat fee consignment with mutually agreed SELLING price. Once bitten....
