Advice on Selling 2011 Interstate

Friends,

I have decided to sell my 2011 silver Interstate, only 17,500 miles, loaded with Satellite TV etc.. Just found that I don't use it like I thought I would and I hate seeing sit in my office warehouse in Houston. I don't want to hassle with it since I have no patience yet don't really trust leaving it on assignment with a RV dealer. Have any of you had experince with selling one? Advice?

Thanks,

Brent

Hate to see you fall from our noble ranks, but I guess it can't be helped.

Protagonist,

I hate to do it but it is funny how it causes anxiety by just sitting there. I have a Cessna 206T and really enjoy flying places though you don't see as much of the country from 11,000 feet.

Actually I thought you could see more of the country from 11K.

Seriously, good luck selling your RV. I think this forum has a "For Sale" section.

How much are you asking for it?

I am thinking of listing it for $95,000...the question is what will I take! I have seen the "asking price" all over the place...from $97,000 to $109,000 but Haven't done a lot of research. It is fully loaded, satellite and digital tv, satellite radio, new front tires, kept in my warehouse, probably the same as yours. I am going to put it in the shop and have them do a detailed inspection, get rid of some squeaks etc next week then will list it somewhere.

FWIW, I bought my used w/ 4K mi in Aug for $90K. It does have a second TV/DVD, Sirius radio module, & carbon fiber trim on the dash and doors.

There some websites like NADA that list used retail & whsle prices.

Is your sat TV mobile or stationary?

If you are not using it much, then I agree that it is best to go ahead and sell it.

I would list it on Craigslist and also in the "classified" section of the forums.

Good luck, Dan
