'89 B-190 from Canada????

I thought all B-190 were made at jackson center Ohio. I just bought 1989 B-190 that cam from canada and it appears it was completed in Canada. Like the others it is based on the Ford E350 van. the tags show it was made by the Okanagan Mfg company penticton, BC.Does anyone else have one made here also? I just want to find out how many of these were made and if any one else has one. Thanks, Don

Don, I don't claim to be any kind of B-van expert, but I don't know of any of them made outside Jackson Center. Do you have photos you could post? It would be interesting to see what you're seeing!

As I understand it, Okanagan made them under license for Airstream during the '89 model year, then it moved to Jackson Center. Airstream bought the design from Okanagan; there are campers out there that look exactly like our B190s but were made by Okanagan before 1989.

Good information, Thanks

Here are a couple of pictures of my airstream. I am sure it going to cost a mint to fix. This one was sitting for the past 15 years and does not currently run. After I get The title I am going to take it to a much better mechanic than myself. Don

If you go the The Okanagan RV company website, they have a photo gallery of customers rigs. Look here and scroll down to see one that looks exactly like yours:

Yeah, it looks like it needs some work, but that can be fun. I know a number of people that restore vintage Airstream trailers, so this is pretty much the same thing. Good luck!

Would these units include the same 'Airstream Vehicle Identification Number System'? If so, should it also be located under the hood? If not, is there a way to locate the sequential number for first-year units?
