2016 Interstate power window blind/screen adjustment

Hello,

I became the owner of a 2016 Interstate a few months ago, and have been having issues with getting the new power blinds adjusted. Some of the blinds in the full up position are hanging a few inches too low. They didn't start out that way when new, but once we used it a few times they settled in to their positions now.

I've asked the dealer to adjust them, but they are really slow about getting to them (fixing other things but not the blinds). I even obtained the install manual for the blinds showing that there are supposedly screws to adjust, but they are not accessible in the mounted position. I've asked the service manager to ask his mechanics what the procedure was for adjusting the blinds, but I never get an answer.

I'm hoping that I can just do this myself instead of waiting for the dealer to "not" get to it every time I take it in.

Has anyone with a newer Interstate attempted to do the adjustments? It seems that we need to remove the blinds from the mounting position in order to reach the adjustment screws. If so, what is the best way to remove these? Do we need to remove the whole wall trim panel?

Thanks for any input on this.

I remember reading another thread saying it is a pain and you do have to disassemble things. I had minor issues with mine and the dealer immediately attended to them. I would push them to deliver.

On the blinds, there are screws in the overhead cabinets that hold the side panels to the wall. Remove those screws, pull the panel away from the wall and you can access the blind limit adjust screws. In the material I recieved with my '16 GT it included the adjustment driver.
