2016 interstate forward TV

I'm banging my head into the forward TV on my 2016 Intertate. I'm tired of it and I was wondering if anyone has put the smaller rear TV in the place of the large forward TV? I'd also like to replace the rear TV with a smaller 13 inch. Thanks in advance!

The older Interstates, like mine had smaller TVs up front so I don't see why you couldn't but the smaller TV up front.

Someone here put a piece of pipe insulation on the bottom edge of the TV. IIRC, they said they didn't hit it any more. Go figure.

Also you could get a mount that flips up and locks when not in use.

I always thought the TVs were the same size.

I just went and did it... my 2016 interstate I did place the rear tv (22 inch) up front, replacing the forward tv (28 inch). Drilling new mounting holes in the baseplate and re-rapping the wiring harness is required. Have at least two more inched of head clearance now, very happy. Now I going to replace the rear tv with a 15 inch toshiba tv/dvd combo, I'll let you know how that goes.

Didn't know Airstream had upsized the front TV to 28". I can see where that could be a problem. My 15 has 2) 22" TVs.

The Grand Tour front TV is mounted to the pantry wall and out of the way. The rear hangs out in the aisle about 3" when in the locked position. I swing it over to the side wall and leave it there until we are on the road again.

I'm probably going to move my front TV to the back & just leave no TV in front. We never watch TV in the front seats - looking up at that angle is uncomfortable at best. There has to be a better way than the TV hanging down 6" below the headliner.

I completely removed my forward placed tv. It didn't serve any useful purpose for us.
