I believe the change occurred during the latter part of 2013 for the chassis, which includes a new front nose that is sharper versus a more rounded one, along with driver assist features such as lane departure warnings, front and rear proximity sensors, headlight washers etc. When Airstream upfits these which can take several more months they become 2014.5 models like mine, which is newer than a 2014 with rounded front end. The 2015 is very similar to my 2014.5, hope that makes sense to you?
