2010 Interstate Mattress Questions

Our 2010 Interstate has twin beds. The mattresses have a tag that indicates they were made in 2009 by Michiana Mattress in Wakarusa, Indiana.

The mattresses are very comfortable and we'd like to have the same material(s) used to make twin mattresses for our trailer. I realize there are many mattress manufacturers who will make custom mattresses for Airstreams but the Michiana mattresses are the most comfortable I/we have ever slept on!

It appears Michiana Mattress is no longer in business in Wakarusa, Indiana. I found information indicating they were acquired by Lippert Components (LCI) and may now be operating in Goshen, Indiana.

So a couple of questions...

If you have twin beds in your Interstate I'd like to know the brand/maker of your mattress.

If you have any information on Michiana Mattress please post it on this thread.

I can't answer either of your questions, but in the event you come up empty-handed, you might look for a custom mattress maker near you.

We have this one in the greater Houston TX area, and I wouldn't buy from anyone else. Oddly enough, their prices for custom jobs are significantly lower than off-the-shelf retail. So the word "custom" doesn't necessarily mean prohibitively expensive in this market niche.
