2008 sprinter van refrifgerator not working while driving

I have a 2008 sprinter van and when plugged into shore power the refridgerator works great. However, when I unplug and drive down the road it no longer works. Any reasons why? What can I do to make it work?

Is it electric/propane? If so, is propane on?

That was my thought, to check the propane, also to check your settings on the frig and be sure it is set to auto.

If it is still the OEM refrigerator, I do believe it is the electric/propane model, so if it isn't working on the road, likely there is a propane issue.

I have the same vintage, and had the same problem when I bought mine used three years ago. Fridge is all alectric no propane, they use a peltier cooler. Turned out it was wired incorrectly from factory. I took out the fridge and swapped the 12V leads to reverse the polarity. After doing that it has worked just fine. It should take about half an hour to get the fridge out.
Good luck

refrigerator

It is not propane. Sometimes it works while I drive and sometimes it doesn't work. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
