2005 interstate battery drain

I replaced the charger/ converter and house battery a couple of months ago
Everything was just fine until recently I came back from a 2 week vacation and checked the van and the battery was dead.
There were no circuits on except the propane detector that I can think of.
I plugged in external power and charged back up again. We've been on a few trips and all seemed well until today when I noticed something amiss.
We've been dry camping for 2 days without running the generator and the alarm went off for the propane detector.
The battery was dead. 12v lights have all been replaced with leds and the fridge is gas. We have not used the radio or outlets except to charge iPhones
I think it's odd the battery died so easy, maybe I need to retort to Costco?
Any suggestions ?
Thank you in advance
Colin

Colin, Have 2007 AI and had a similar issue. I used a clamp-on ammmeter. Slide the pass. seat forward, clamp on positive or negative and methodically check each power draw. I discovered the radio and the connected subwoofer still draws power from the house battery when the ignition is not on. Even so, make sure the propane solenoid switch is off as it will draw between 3/4 to 1 1/4 amps. Recommend you turn off the house system if away more than three days. Do you have an AGM battery for the house?

When the glass doors below the television are totally shut they turn on the stereo in the cabinet (which is a push on/off button on my mid-lounge Interstate. I also added AGM batteries and 1 panel of roof solar. No more drained batteries. AEW

I have a low current clamp on type ammeter (it will measure down to ma)

A small draw that is constantly on will certainly bring a battery down.
A battery disconnect seems like a good idea, as long as a float charger is left connected.

My experience had been that keeping a battery fully charged with a decent float charger all the time will greatly extend the life.
(My 2005 Ducati has the original battery, and it still works well, although certainly on borrowed time!)
