1993 airstream 190b towing capacity

I posted this under towing but maybe this is a better spot. Does anyone know what the towing capacity is for a 190b. I would like to tow a 4,000 pound car with a dual axel trailer

should not be any problem if you have the big engine in the B190. They are often used for towing - I have a 1990 B190 with the 460 and tow a 75 Ambassador - about 6500 lb. The van tends to be pushing the GAWR but the rig is well within the spec'd GCWR.

I tend to agree, it shouldn't be a problem, assuming that you don't have the van or the vehicle being towed packed! My fuzzy memory seems to think that the tow rating for the B vans were 5000#

The GCWR for my '91 (with the 460) is 15,000 lbs. The van alone weighs about 9,000 lbs, so you should have adequate capacity to tow that car. I tow a 3,000 lb car (with a dolly that weighs 580 lbs) without a problem.
