Everytime I got out of bed a different animal would be in my place until I scooted him out. Curious where and how they were sleeping in the front I grabbed my camera and snapped this shot of their pleasant dreams.

We replaced the storage door beneath the gaucho with a generic BBQ grate from Home Depot. This created a den similar to our home dog crate. Fiona has claimed it as her private cave.

Where does the pooch sleep? Pretty much anywhere - however,

We've made a "nest" for JAKI under our queen size bed in the back - she seems to like it. We've also dedicated the space inside the cabinet under the TV as her "alternate" doggie cave... But, she'll pretty much sleep on our bed if she wants to!

Our 11 LB Lizzy takes the middle of our bed...unless our granddaughter is camping with us. Then she takes the middle of that bed. She pretends to be sleeping so we won't move her.

Where do they sleep?

You can't tell from the way they appear, but, as both Chloe and Callie are sofa and bed killers, in their crates!
With the crates strapped, and seat belted, to the front sofa. Loose is just too dangerous for them

Rachel sleeps in her crate when we go to bed. It's her bed and she knows...

At home, Lily starts the night on the couch or chair in the living room, or under our bed, always ending up by morning in her own bed in our room. She gets us up every morning, paws on the side of the bed until she is invited up for a snuggle in the warm spot between us.

When we are driving, she has a large cushion in the area between our front seats. This keeps her 50 pounds out of my lap, her preferred spot, and thus my legs free from huge bruises and the occasional scratch. The large cushion is made from our comfy mattress pad folded into a large pillow cover that can be washed as needed.

When we are on the road, she sleeps at the foot of our bed. If she's tired, we are reading and haven't yet put the bed out, she will look at us and do her pitiful whine until we do. More comfy for her.

Who spoiled this dog!

Crate Critters

We travel with a 19 pound Bichon Frise and a 14 pound poodle(?) something.
Being crated trained, they seek their crates at night, so we place a crate on each cushion of the dinette with the table between. They like the arrangement, and it gets the up off the floor and out of the way.

Our golden oldie (a 9-year old golden retriever) feels like she is in a (silver) palace after barely being able to move in our former 17' camper. She has a cushy bed under the dinette where she curls up contentedly for the night, no doubt dreaming of squirrels, campfires, and long walks in the woods. We take her with us everywhere, so we had to buy the Airstream to make her (not to mention us) more comfortable in her golden years.

Our recused Greyhound Whippet, Bonnie, usually sleeps on the sofa but has been know to get under the banquette on her "bed" in bad weather. She goes with us everywhere. She's a "campin' dog".

On the bed of course. When we put a queen sized sleep number mattress in the trailer there was no getting them off it. We have two and they both enjoy camping with us

The Doberman sleeps with us, the labradoodle sleeps in the hallway, and the Newfoundland under the dining table on a bed.
