We spent our first night (driveway) in our 06 Bambi with two Labs. They did great! We set up the front dinette with a blanket on top and it's big enough for a 4 of us to watch a movie. When it was time for bed each one of them took a side and not a peep until I got up. We woke up to the sound of rain! Perfect! (I'm sick of rain and snow) but I love that sound. Tanner is ready to go back out to the camper (he knows there are treats out there) but his daddy is still sleeping. We will report how they do on a real camping trip.
Love it!

Our dogs generally sleep in bed with us, especially our boy. He's a bed bug. The girl is a little miss hotbody so she frequently stretches out on the floor or takes a seat near the door. She is more the protective altertress while he is insecure and more needy. Looks like you have natural campers Rae

Our two Schnauzers are small so they don't take up much room in da bed. One on our feet and the littlest on my pillow near my head. She snores but I don't hear her cause Im deaf without my hearing aids which I take out at night.

Buster's bed-s

We only have one and he's old enough to sleep wherever he wants in the MH or at home.

Our MH has twins so I simply slide a piece of plywood under the matresses and put his foam on top then when made up it's one giant bed and he hogs the middle.

Here he is on his couch at home.

Our three (Standard) RASTAPOODLEs always sleep on the floor. It was one reason we chose a floor plan w/o a dinette, which we never used when we owned our 2 different pop-ups. At night, 2 of 3 sleep by the bed, just like at home. The other wanders the house or Airstream.
We really needed the 31 Classic because they sure do take up a lot of space but we would not leave home w/o them.
It's more difficult than we thought. Some campgrounds limit the size, number of dogs. PA State parks only allow 2 dogs. Oh well, their loss.

Hey rastapoodle, a warm welcome to the forum. Great thread to make your first post!!

Our boy Harley, a solid 135#, 3 year old golden retriever, sleeps on the floor on the throw rug in the (center) bath walkway.
Makes a middle of the night run to the bathroom an real adventure trying to keep from falling over him. He can sleep where he wants as long as it is on the floor and there is really nowhere he could park that he isn't a trip hazard with his size. He's a great traveler and we love to have him along.
It is great to see how others travel with their creatures.

Rosa sleeps in the stern, but moves around all night; walking in the dark is dicey.
