Kevin and Prim, so sorry for your loss. Bandit lived with lots of love, and you can be sure she knew it everyday. Dogs always know.

Kevin and Prim,

So sorry to hear that Bandit has passed, but how wonderful that you were able to steal those extra years. She was a beautiful girl.

Rest peacefully, Bandit.

Thanks to all for the kind words. We brought Bandit's ashes back home yesterday and pulled out some older pictures (from film days) to remember her during her younger care free years. We put a few pics up (you can only do so much in a motorhome) and now she is back with us at home which brings some comfort.

2 of my most favorite pictures I have of her...8 weeks old and first day home in May 1997, the other at Coal Bank pass outside Durango Colorado over Thanksgiving 2010.

I don't have the heart to modify my signature yet... We've always been a family of 4... She's still with me in spirit.

Kevin and Prim,

So sorry for your loss, we lost our Springer Spaniel years ago. It took me a very long time to walk into the house and not expect him to meet me.

The loss of a pet it no less of a loss than of a family member.

Sorry for your loss. She did a great job fighting off the liver cancer for so long. Much like our precious Alki, all you can do is give them the best life possible, and let them go when it's time. If only they could live forever! But our old friends will always be in our hearts.

A dear friend made me a little scrapbook album with pictures of Alki, and I keep it on my desk right next to my monitor, and I probably don't go a week without picking it up to look at it. I was surprised at how comforting it is to have a few pictures around.

Take care.

Our Hearts go out to you

Live is wonderful with a pet in the family. The problem we out live them and since they are members of the family it is a very emotional time when we lose one. We have been in your position 3 times in the past 10 years so we feel you pain... What helped me was getting a puppy not long after. We figured we were good parents and our dog would want us to help another canine find a good home. It doesn't take the pain away but it really helps to direct your attention away from the past and focus on a new live and new joys...... God bless.....

As the circle of life always continues, we put Miss Pangji, aka "G" the min pin to rest today. She suffered what we think was a severe stroke that impacted her mobility control of her legs.

I'm sure "G" was greeted by her "sister" Bandit that proceeded her almost a year to this day, and is able to play among the great fields beyond...

She was over 17 years old and will be sorely missed...

Pangji and Bandit were one of the main reasons we started into 'streaming, so now that we have none, we will take a break and reflect on all the great things we've seen with them at our sides.

She will be missed...

So hard to lose a beloved pet. . I feel their spirits stay close, and with us. Such powerful emotional connections cannot just end, IMO.

Sorry for your loss. May the memories comfort you.

So sorry to hear about your losses. We lost our female German Shepherd back in March to lung cancer and it's still very hard for us.

We've since adopted another German Shepherd, this time a male, and their personalities are so vastly different that we can't help but smile and think of the happy times we had with Raley and what a great dog she was. Her ashes rest in our living room and her collar hangs above the door from the garage to the house so that she can still watch over us.

I think it's great that you have pictures of your dogs in your Airstream, and I hope that you find comfort soon and get back out there as they would want you to.

Kevin & Prim,
I am so sorry for the loss of your faithful companions. It is never easy to lose one, let alone two. Know that they will be with you always in your heart and never far away.

We will miss them at the rallies.
