Traveling with 3 small pet birds

We have 3 small rescued parrots-a cockatiel and 2 conures. We are looking for recommendations for travel cage brands for them. They are not able to be housed together. Also, any other ideas or suggestions on traveling with pet birds would be appreciated. We are planning our first trip in our new 2014 30w International Signature in a few weeks!

Please keep in mind that birds can be dangerously stressed by environmental/ temperature changes. Rapid temperature changes can bring on serious respiratory problems. I commercially raised Cockatiels and African Grays for several years and they do not travel well.

I did a lot of traveling with parakeets and zebra finches. I was always mindful of drafts and fumes at gas stations, and they always did great. Dunno about other birds though. I would think, if they're meant to survive in the wild, a little travel wouldn't be the end of the world. But today's domestic may be a lot different (less hardy) from the wild ones.
