Say the word skunk and I am hit with nausea triggered by memeories of being pregnant and living next to the Pisgah National Forest. One spring our neighborhood was premated with the lovely odor and I was so sick from the odor I could barely lift my head. We consulted a neighbor who was a forest ranger and it was decided we had no choice but the eliminatethe critters. Before the hunting party could get together our little dacshund took it upon himself to solve the problem. For 3 days in a row he brought baby skunks to us and left them under the bedroom window. I didn't think we would ever get rid of the odor. This in no way as bad as Janet's story. I think I would have just had to move.
