So I guess if you are not a pet lover you wouldn't understand.

Look people I have a AKC Boxer that is a chapion frisbee dog. I feel for dogs. What I don't feel for is posts about dogs in and Airstream specific forum. I could post UTube videos of frisbee contest but I don't. Know why, because there is a Frisbee site for that kinda stuff. I love my dog, she's the best dog I have ever had. I just think that these forums need to stay on subject.

Very true, it is posted in the Pet Forum section, not off topic at all. Plus since we lost our little pup, we do enjoy see pics and stories of other faithful and loving pets.

How is this thread off topic? If it's not your cup of tea, fine. But please don't come to this forum and expect us to change things to suit your tastes. From here on out, maybe just put the pet forum on your ignore list.

Dear BIG - I don't have a pet traveling with me, I don't intend to acquire one, but watching this Youtube WAS a highlight of my day. Airstreaming is a lifestyle. This forum is a virtual campfire. We sit around and talk about our trailers, our travels, our kids, our pets or whatever else our hearts desire. I've been a member for about 5 years... since before I got my first Airstream.

I've attended seminars and focus groups where I've paid $1200 per day to attend - but I've sometimes learned more here for free! It's called "serendipity" You can only experience a serendipitous benefit if you're willing to see outside of a focused expectation.

Airstream related... in the sense that Airstreaming is a lifestyle, it IS all about who we are, not what we own.

I see this post... I think of my niece who has two children under 3... I send it to HER. She's a great mom and she'll get it and appreciate it.

I come here to share friendships, and part of wanting friends is BEING a friend. Come as you are, but please come prepared to accept us as we are.

Paula

For the individual who asked-"This has to do with Airstreams?", I am sorry for you. I might suggest you read the thread LosingGregg. This woman lost her service dog and her husband, both of many years in the same month. She then reached out to people she only knew on a computer for solace, support, and understanding. So what does this have to do with Airstreams- EVERYTHING. We are a community of individuals who laugh, cry, help, and camp together. If you don't get it, watch and learn, soon you'll understand.

What an awesome video! Thanks for sharing it Gotta love those dogs!

I see that Big is fairly new to the forums.....hang in there and you will see that the forums have lots of things to see and learn from. This particular one (the pet forum) is for all of us pet people who want to share stories about animals. I lost my pet on Halloween....he got old and it was his time to leave and go to greener pastures. I then went and adopted a puppy and shared him here on the forums.

I have to tell you that my friends here really helped me out through a hard time. Without their support, it would have been a lot more difficult. Check out the other forums, ask questions, share your stories and enjoy

As I'm sure has been said before...

Airforums is not about Airstreams, it's about PEOPLE and their experiences WITH Airstreams...

To Robert Cross I owe you an apology.

As a new member I wasn't aware of what Foiled Again said,

"Airstreaming is a lifestyle. This forum is a virtual campfire. We sit around and talk about our trailers, our travels, our kids, our pets or whatever else our hearts desire."

I addition I linked to the original video for the general http://www.airforums.com/ page that is a composite the all popular discussions.

I, in error thought the post was inappropriate to an Airstream trailer discussion, not realizing it was in fact in the right area of the forum.

I also never saw that there is a pet forum within Airforums.

SORRY.
