I think he's going to be a big boy when he grows up. And no he can't ride in the smarts anymore.
Ah - Rascal is adorable. We had a harlequin named Bonginator and hence my forum name in his memory. He loved to ride in our 4-runner with his head out the sunroof. You should have seen the looks we got going down the road! We miss him. Have fun with Rascal!

I'm so sorry

We lost our girl to kidney failure 4 months ago, and it still hurts.

So sorry for your loss. My best friend as a child was a wonderful boxer named Tom Dooley.

Oh so sorry Morgan and all that lost friends..... what keeps me going is that we gave them a wonderful life......... Always consider a shelter dog as your next best friend. As you say they are loving creatures that fill our life with joy..

Here's one of Daisy (the Bloodhound) enjoying herself with some buddies at a doggie day care near us. The more drool, the happier she is...

We're still waiting for the definitive biopsy report on Jake, but they're virtually sure it was cancerous. Keeping all options on the table, including chemo and radiation.

In any case, the tumor, while huge, was on a bit of a "stalk". They were prepared to take up to half of his tongue, but ended up only taking about 25%.

And he's in much better shape than we feared - almost as if nothing happened. Drinking much more easily without that "thing" in his mouth, and eating soft food just fine. Not 100%, but much better than we had anticipated!

We've been told to have him take it easy, so his walks are much shorter for now.

But he was rarin' to go when we hooked up the other guys yesterday!

Post your pet pictures

Thanks for all the kind words and notes of sympathy.

Dooley was an incredible creature. He only lived seven years, bet he was loved by all and enjoyed the status of a rock star for all that knew him.

He went everywhere with us!

Hi, Jake looks like he's doing fine. Getting a lot of attention from his buddies.
