Hi, we didn't count the land marks that Dusty has been to. He traveled over 10,000 miles on our Alaska trip and so far over 4,000 miles on this trip. He has been on several smaller trips too. By far, he is the most traveled dog we have ever had. Might just be the most traveled Airstream dog in the World. We have about 1,000 more miles to go on this trip. Dusty / Boo-Boo started traveling with us at age 13.5; He is now 17 years old.
Dusty sleeps a lot and that is what he's doing right now.

OK - you're right - these aren't pets .....
But they might as well be .....
They have become pretty much everyday visitors during the fall, winter and spring for about the last 10 years - dog doesn't even get excited anymore .....
At first they were "cute" ..... (kinda like our Bambi) .....
...... then they ate all our cedars ..... we weren't too thrilled about that .....
But now that we've either replaced or protected all the cedars we're again enjoying their company.
In fact ..... starting to think about giving them names ...... would that make them pets??

Wow 17 years old and still going! That's excellent.... Our older one is 13 and beginning to go on trips now... Even on airplanes... :-)

Howard L- great shot of the fawn- isn't it late for one to be born so close to the perils of Winter? I hope it survives!

Jake and Chowder, albeit in a CampLite:
Our two little yappy ones stay home, for the most part.
At Chilhowee Campground about a month ago at 40º it was only a two-dog night!
And Jake looking especially handsome (and wise):

My best friend-
She is very sick and I an concerned.
We'll just give her the best life we can from now until that dreadful day-

I put my dear friend to rest today. She will not suffer anymore. I was sad to see my true friend and constant companion go, but it was time. Her loyalty and faithfulness are unmatched. She brought so much joy to our lives. There will no other Aurora Borealis Peacock Hony aka the Camping Kitty. No other cat will take baths and ride in the truck like a dog. She was loved.
