Here is Rascal taking a break at the Musk Ox Farm at Palmer, Alaska. We found a vet in Anchorage today who let us use their scale to weigh him. He weighed in at 144 lbs. He will be nine months old tomorrow.

Good Lord, does he have his own Airstream? I think maybe there's a market for this... Airstream Pet Trailer?

Ok. This is not my pet. But we went camping last weekend at Lake George and met these adorable liver and tan bloodhound puppies who were enjoying a swim. I'm bummed we didn't have Daisy (a Black and Tan bloodhound) with us - she would have loved these 5 month old sweeties. Amazing how much fun you can have camping!

It is his Airstream. He inherited from Hagar and I'm just the driver and his mom handles his maid service.

Our new camping companion

I had previously mentioned that our 14 year old Cocker Spaniel, Maddie had passed away.

We brought home our new Cocker puppy, Fiona, on Saturday and will let her grow a bit and get through the late summer heat here in Texas before introducing her to the Airstream.

Well, we may go plug in the AC in storage and let her romp around inside a bit to get her "camping legs" but look forward to many days of camping with her.

Nice friend for life. Adopted dogs seem to be extra loving and grateful. :-)

Natasha

Always good to have a 'Cat-scan' in case a rogue chipmunk or snake tries to get into the AS.
Natasha is our russian blue and excellent traveler.

Have a good one,

We just got home from a 2400 mile road trip with the Airstream up the coast Hwy 1 / 101 to Canada and back.

"Orthos" our Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) loves to Airstream!

That is a beautiful cat. In that picture, it looks like he is camping in a SOB.

What a handsome guy! Our "Blue", is supposed to have some French Mastiff in his gene pool...a little bit in the jowl and coloring is similar. Will try to post a picture.
