Gracie is one lucky dog! My two have to swim in the ocean and local creeks. No room for a swimming pool on my property, sadly.

Thumbs up Nyx in NOLA

Here is Nyx in New Orleans. This was her first trip in the Safari, first real trip off the kennel. She did really well, trailer trained, no barking, restrained herself when my neighbor's Poodle attacked her. Both her parents are Executive Level protection trained, you see the videos on the internet, but not all Malinois are suitable for protection, very many are really good pets. Nyx trained for 15 minues with a pack at the kennel, with her beads she walked the streets of the French Quarter like a tart, and carried my 35/1.4 Summilux, a 75/1.4 lux and a few Elmarit-Ms. Cool pooch, I didnt have to carry a camera bag, just the MP. Every bar and resturant we went into, they first told me dogs were not allowed, after they saw her, laughed and said how cute she was and offered her water.

He is going on 3 years. Since his brain kicked in at about a year and a half, he has become a great dog. I've had many dogs over my 50+ years, and he is about the happiest one. We call him the Joy Boy because he's so happy all the time. Had a hard day at work? The Joy Boy will cheer you up!

He sounds like my chocolate boy Kai. He's always happy and loves meeting people (to the point of being a little too happy). Both he and Samm are approaching 4 and are just starting to mellow a bit. Got to love the Labs.

This is my Sulley. He's 2-1/2. We're still waiting for the brain to fully kick-in. Sometimes we see it coming...and then it's gone.

He, too, is a happy dog; ignorance is bliss!

We have always said, "good thing she's pretty, cause she's not real bright." However, today neighbors rolled by and Dharma off leash and roaming within our yard was told "back yard and went and sat by back gate, for once we didn't look like jackass dog owners! She's just now 3yrs. I have heard labs are either dumb and loving or not nice and territorial.

Sulley lives up to the "dumb blond" stereotype, but he is showing signs that there is a brain in there somewhere. He minds me almost all the time, my wife some of the time (when I'm not around) and the kids...well, he considers them equals in the "pack" and almost never minds them.

He has latched on to me so tightly that he gets on my nerves. I don't know if it is insecurity or what. He follows me around so much that it is annoying most of the time. I swear sometimes, he follows me so close that I think if I passed gas it would come out his back end!

Our Rescue

Here is our Mr. Moose (his real name is sorgi). We've only spent one night in the camper, but he jumped up into the booth and sat there at the table looking at me like "so this is home? where's dinner?" As you can see he doesn't mind having things on his head, lol.
