Here's a picture of Whiskey in "his" A/S. Of course, this was before gutting the trailer. Right now, there's nothing for him to sit on anymore

Or, what I came home to one day after work......

From left: Abby, now nearly 9, Otis, a year old, & Earl, coming up on 4. Great watchdogs if the burglar happens to have a pocket full of Milk Bones.

Otis and Earl are now both 100# and 102# dogs and Abby maintains her svelte 70#.

O and Big E are both rescue dogs which I have found are way more expensive than breeders dogs. Why? I found you can't adopt all of them but you can contribute financially.

Cat on a hot oak wine rack

I was on the laptop when I looked up and saw Zoe perfectly posed in perfect light. With minimum motion, I reached up and retrieved my camera from the cabinet above me and got this great shot.

The first-place ribbon is the one she won at the pet show at the Springfield International.

She is sitting on the 5-bottle wine rack that I built into the top of the microwave cabinet.

The Airstream art in the frame is an original named "Texas Trailer". It was a gift from my two sisters-in-law in Michigan. The artist was featured in a recent Airstream Life.

Great Minds think alike!

What a wonderful picture and a beautiful kitty. Our jack Russell would have a lot of fun with Zoe but I don't think Zoe would appreciate a Jack Russells Idea of fun. I pull my 28 Ft. with a 2004 Duramax also. Getting over 15 MPG and loving it, as opposed to 9 & 10 that I was getting Pre Airstream, when we had the 15,000 lb 5th wheel. I am a woodworker also and admire the fine work you did with what I can see of the wine rack. I noticed you live in Austin TX. If I were to leave NC thats the only other area I would want to live in. I think the weather there is about perfect. Amazing how great minds think alike!!!
Have a Great summer.

Dolly is our newly adopted rescue from the Nelson County VA SPCA. She's mostly Corgi with some Beagle thrown in. Vet says she's 12-18 months old and she's a real sweetie.

I really miss my pic/chihuahua mix Armondo and his loving friend 'Harry' the rat that made several trips with us in our AS when I was travel nursing...My little buddies are now gone....Currently I am stuck at home and unable to travel, but I am left with the most blessed memories....I look forward to the day when I can hitch up my beloved AS and hit the road again!!!!

I keep looking at all these photos - so many lucky pets!!

Here's a couple pics of my girls. Luv them to pieces. Adopted Kimmi, the whippet, almost 7 years ago. She was born blind in one eye but it doesn't affect her any. She is the most active whippet I have owned. I adopted Anna, the greyhound, over a year ago. What a couch potato.

Okay - so I'm not quite level in the last pic My skills have improved - some.

This is Sandy a two year old Beagle we just took in. We got her from a rabbit hunter who couldn't use her. He said she was gun shy but we have discovered that she is scared of a lot especially humans. This pic was taken the first day we got her and carried her in the house. Since we let her out we have not been able to get her back in, she won't get close enough for us to grab her. Matter of fact I hurt my shoulder pretty good chasing her around the yard in the dark so I could catch her to bring her in because we expected very bad weather( I tripped on a piece of wood and fell when she took a short cut behind my woodpile). She is a sweet little girl just scared to death. We hope she grows to trust us over the next few weeks.

Here is a picture of our dog Chico. Pain in the rear, worse than a kid! But he loves camping. And lucky for me, my husband gets to take him with us.

Thanks for taking her in! I recommend you keep her on a leash if you aren't in a fenced area. Beagles are notorious for catching a scent and taking off. Until her recall is perfect, best not take any chances! They're a wonderful breed and I'm sure she'll settle in with you fine.

That's hard to tell by the pics! I understand they can be quite a handful.

You have no idea........that is why you don't see many of them. It takes a special, very patient person to have one of these (English Bull Terriers), that of which I am still learning to be! I do believe if we would have had another child instead, we would be money and sanity ahead! But....he is part of the family and we love him just the way he is.

Bob, the fact that that is a training DVD makes it all the more funny! Did Fado do that?

No.... Fado is innocent!

How could you think such a thing? Does this face look like a shredder or a kisser?

Well, my boys are very innocent looking as well, but just look at what they were capable of (fortunately, now that they're older we don't have incidents like this any more)!
