I can't resist a bargain, and Target had these pet costumes in their $1 section, so Moe is getting ready for Halloween. His facial expression seems to say, "Why?"

That expression is more "OMG, Mom's lost it, big time. First it's pink plastic birds all over the place, now she's trying to make ME look like a pumpkin. I can't wait to see what she's gonna dress Dad up like when he gets home from work"

Here are my two boys, Stickeen the Aussie, and Bamse the Bernese Mt Dog, he is the puppy in this picture, and the big one in the second picture
Not sure if I did this right.
GREAT pics. What a pair. They sure do look like trouble - who, me? I'd never do that...

Picture ONE - "Oh boy, a little guy to play with....."
Picture TWO - "OMG - What have you done!!!!!"
Oh boy do you have that one right. The Berner, Bamse, is well over twice the size of the Aussie, Stickeen, now, and Stickeen gives me the "OMG - What have you done" look all the time when the big guy is being a large silly boy.
Stickeen was used to my very handicapped Berner, Else. We got Bamse when we lost her.
Since I have run into the same problem as a LOT of us have with no more photo space until we become extended members, I'm trying PhotoBucket. I meant to try it, anyway, since everytime I want a picture I'm at the wrong computer int he wrong building.
I HOPE this link works.. plese tell me what you think about my beautiful babies. :-)
No, the nekkid boys are both Sphynx, and both from rescue, if you can imagine anyone paying 1600.00 for a flying monkey and then one getting dumped and one getting abused and recovered by the breeder, who is a WONDERFUL person.
The woman who runs the rescue is PHENOMENAL.. how she matches all of the humans with the furbabies, I don't know :-)
You would NOT believe all of the BEAUTIFUL purebred kitties in that rescue. If anyone is interested, ask me for the link. They're in Milwaukee, WI. They're not "free".. there is a nominal fee, but a fraction of what the same cat costs "new" and it's also noble to adopt problems...
although keep in mind that the picture I posted took a FULL two years to happen.. they are FINALLY in a cat pile :-)
Ernest, the red Siamese, was a replacement for my eldest son moving out.. in 1992!!! He's been the LIGHT of my life. and I hate to see him so arthitic.

I hear you about how phenomenal rescue is. It's the same with Labrador Retrievers (and other breeds). My boy Samm came from a rescue in Kansas to join me and Kai in Vancouver, BC. All with the help of incredible volunteers.
