Mickey, the one year old leash trained cat, still tries to squeeze into the bed we got him for his first trip 7 months ago. The dogs, on the other hand, get comfortable on the bed.

New addition

Ever since I saw our vet's 4 Munchkins, I wanted one. A friend of my step-daughter volunteers at the shelter and grabbed one for me as it came in.

He is a small, all-white, 2 year-old and he loves people. He settled right in with the other cats; a few hisses and growls, but no nastiness.

I named him "Onslow". For all of you that watch the British Comedies on PBS, Onslow is a good-natured character in "Keeping Up Appearances". He sleeps most of the time, never does a lick of work, and is described as "bone idle" and "work shy". Seems to me to be a "purrfect" name for a cat.

Munchkins have very short legs. They are the dachshunds of the cat family. I laugh every time I see him walk across the floor.

I'm creeped out by this photo. Guess it's a face that only a mother could love.

Here is a rare Chinese Flathead dog. Smiling and showing teeth is typical among this breed and is non-threatening.

My Friend Pokey. He has convinced me that being able to bring your home with you anywhere you go can be a good thing.

He reminds me of SpongeBob's pet named Gary. Does Pokey meow like Gary does?

Well I do try to keep him out of the streets. While he does not meow that I have heard. He did seem to to get very excited to the idea of having red numbers put on his shell.

Our James P. Sullivan of Fayette Co. i.e. Sulley before he went to a puppy cut. Affectionately know to my older son as "Chow Hound". And in true Disney style, he is sporting his Disney leash, collar, and Mickey Icon dog tag.
