60 million containers of pet food recalled
Eukanuba, Iams and store brands tied to kidney failure, deaths
I know there are a lot of owners on this forum. So I in posting this as a warning to those it may apply to below is the website that you can go to for details. I pray there are no affected members
If you remember the last dog food recall was for dry food and it had a long list of names that it was sold under. Several dogs died because the corn used inthe mix had gone bad. We feed out dogs Nature's Recipe, rice and lamb andhave been very happy with the product.
Seems to be a lot of this going on lately both in animal and people food. My pooch just went on dietary food from Eukenuba (sp?), so I was fairly concerned, but I checked the cans and none fell under the recall.....yet!

hi Everyone,
just A Note About This Dog Food Problem That's Going On.
we Used Science Diet For Many Years But Heard They Were Doing To Stop The Low Fat So Changed To Bil-jac Low Fat And They Love It. It Is One Of The Very Best Dog Foods Around And My Cockers Won't Eat Anything Else Now. It's A Little Hard To Fine But It Is At Petsmart And It's A Little Pricy But Well Worth It. But More Important, It "isn't" Among All The Dog Foods Being Called Back..
i Just Wanted To Let You Know There Is Still A Very Good Dog Food Out There If Your Interested.
my Dogs Also Love The Bil-jac Treats...
A great website on cat food: Feeding Your Cat** Know the Basi. I have been making my own cat and dog food from scratch. I feed Wellness canned food when I get lazy.
Having shown dogs for many, many years, I can recommend the Bil-Jac foods. They are made in the USA and are mostly a chicken product. Here they are sold at Wal-Mart along with other stores. I'm still wondering why the United States or Canada would have to buy wheat from China. I have a feeling that it's just profit driven for all parties concerned. What a shame.
