We just picked up our Airstream this week end. Unfortunately we had to board our 9 month old cocker spaniel so we wouldn't have to deal with him at the dealership before our shake down cruise following picking it up, but he will be with us on all our future trips!
We travel with our two cats; a 3-year old and a 16+-year old. The young cat lioves to travel. The old cat hates to travel, but is diabetic and must have his insulin and special diet.
Both cats ride in the trailer at temperatures under 95-degrees. Above that, they get to enjoy the air conditioning in the truck. We run the Fantastic fans, front blowing in and rear blowing out while they are riding; the trailer stays at a suitable temperature up to the high 90s.
The litter box is in the pass-thru bath aisle and only needs to be moved forward about 12" to use the shower. I carry clumping litter in plastic coffee containers in the back of a wardrobe and clean out the litter box twice daily. One small drawer holds their food supply. I made a special wood holder for the metal litter scoop that mounts behind the toilet and prevents the dirty scoop from touching anything.

We travel with our 3 girls. Bandit is 14 years old and around 15 lbs. Smokie just turned 3 and she is 65 lbs. Gracie is our baby and she's a 80 lbd yellow lab. She will be 3 in a few months. We just returned from 4 days of camping and everyone had a great time. Today is bath day!
We camp with our 2 canine children Annie and Oakley. Annie is a 1 year old Bassett hound and sooooo sweet, Oakley (mutt) 7 years old we resued him from a shelter just in the nick of time about 4 years ago and he is a mama's boy for sure will not leave my side.

We always travel with our TONK and she's a mess. The two retrievers travel with us at times as well. When the weather is hot, we put the rear seat down and the two dogs pile in with the cat and at times, all three sleep on the same surface. What a hoot. When the weather allows it, we put the dog kennel boxes together and let the dogs sleep outside at night but they get along famously with the cat and a trailer full of our loving pets is good when there are no Grandchildren camping with us. Life is good.
We have taken Alki the Eskimo, Chester "the world's dumbest Dalmatian", and Lucy the cat with us on occasion, but mostly we travel without the pets. Partly because it's not a vacation if you have a dalmatian wake you up at 5am to go potty, and partly because I can't stand having big stinky, muddy dogs messing up my nice trailer uphostery.
We take Cookie, our PeekaPoo, with us on all our camping outings. I also take Baby, our 16 year old Siamese, with me when I have to leave town for our suddenly-all-too-frequent hurricane evacuations. Cookie loves to ride, and is usually the first one to the door when we say, "let's go". Baby is not thrilled with riding, but he certainly fares better than he would if our house ever got damaged in a storm with him in it. Here is a photo of Baby:

We travel everywhere with our fish. "V-ger" is a beta fish - you may have seen them living in a jar with a plant on top. I designed a carrier that allows me to safely seat belt his jar into the back seat of our truck. We've been taking him along for over four years now and he's traveled as far away as N.C. and Kentucky. Doesn't seem to bother him and he loves hanging out in the 'stream after a day of traveling.
