Our New Pup Tent!
We've done all our previous camping in tents -- without the dogs because we can't leave them in the tent unattended. Now that we have an AS, the dogs can come along too, so we're learning about their needs. One need in many campgrounds is shade near our trailer, so we bought them a little Pup Tent. Very cool thing that opens and sets up in about three seconds, and collapses and folds away in about 42 seconds. They love it!

Cute! Do you leave them out there at night?
We have thought of leaving LIly in the tent with the grand kids at night but are afraid she would bark to wake the dead at any sound or smell.

Actually, we would never leave them in the Pup Tent (or any tent) unattended. And at the very first sign of noise or barking, in the Bambi they go. No nonsense from the dogs! If a dog really wanted to get out of this tent on their own, they'd be able to do it. It's not like a true crate, where they are safely 'in jail." I suppose you could put a crate into the tent, and then they'd be safe, but we like having them in the trailer with us at night. We'd never leave them out on their own.
With the grandchildren? Well, that depends on the grandchildren, I guess! We don't have any of those so we wouldn't know...
The Pup Tent is primarily to give them a little shade or shelter from sun/heat/wind/damp, or their own little nest, while we're hanging around the campsite.

Cute... That tent is the perfect size to shelter a generator from the elements, too. It could multi-task...not at the same time, of course.

Awesome! I think my 6 year-old would love it--the dogs expect to stay inside with us.

Yep....
Cute pic....they look right at "home"
Never tried using a tent for Fado, he has a soft crate in the Burb when on the move but needs to be with his humans when at the campsite.
