New Airstreamer (but she doesn't know it yet)

Concluding our first season, we realised we were missing just one vital thing, something that so many other campers had but we didn't. Yes, you've guessed it, a dog.

Mrs T and I had discussed getting a dog for some while but had shied away from it for various reasons. But, having seen how RV people travel with their pets (not just dogs!) we thought that it was time to look further and here she is, a two year old ex-racing Greyhound who goes by the name of Willow.

She came from GRA Canada last weekend although is US bred and trained (for racing).

Willow is still a little nervous around us but I'm sure she'll gain confidence with time. The only thing is that she's going to have to wait until the end of April to see her holiday home as we've just put it in storage for the winter. Still, maybe a camping weekend would be just too much for Willow right now, poor little thing that she is.

Very Cool ad congrats!!!! We take our three dogs everywhere with us and love every moment with them.

perfect timing, at the end of the season. This will give you 3 plenty of bonding time before meeting all the new friends down the road.

Rescue dogs are great, although who rescues whom always seems to be a question...

Congrats!

I like the bumper sticker that says "Who rescued who?"

oops just saw that overlander63 already said the same thing.

What a beauty!!!

She is a doll. You have plenty of "bonding" time before the new season comes around. You'll then be inseperable.

Yay!!

We just love our rescue pup (Sadee)...so sweet, she almost seems to understand how lucky we BOTH are! She is oh so grateful...she was a puppy mill momma.

I'm sure your Willow will gain confidence and become a true member of your family in no time...and enjoy Airstreaming with you next summer! Sadee had her first campouts this year...she did fine! (You think!?)
