Most Difficult Post

I have seen a lot of you at rallies over the years. I have been to The Can Opener, many SpringStreams and Falluminum rallies. I have been to Misty River in TN, and to the Dogwoods and Bluegrass rally in KY. All of those rallies were also attended with Baity, my Lab / Pointer dog.

He died this past Saturday. He was less than 2 months shy of his 14th birthday. He was lying in the sun, beside his house. He seemed to go peacefully. He was buried at sunset in the back yard. I had the help of a couple of close friends.

I am heartbroken. Thanks for reading.

I'm so sorry, my heart goes out to you. Sounds like he had a great life any dog would be happy to live, traveling with his master and enjoying life.

So sorry for your loss. 14 years is such a good long time to have a friend like that. :-(

I know how tough it can be to lose a pet as they truly are part of the family.

Awwww...... I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose such a great companion. When I get to heaven, one of the questions I'd like to ask is..... "Why doesn't man's best friend live as long as man?"

My heart goes out to you. I lost my beloved friend whom I had since a puppy before I even married shortly before we bought our Airstream. I know how it feels. Many times I come home and look for the dog who isnt' there by mistake.

Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds.
