I never understood how much people loved their dogs until I had to say good bye to one of ours. It's never easy. I'm sorry for your loss

Sad news Kevin... our dog is almost 15 blind and deaf, still like camping with us though as he has for 14 years. I am not looking forward to the day he goes..

Very sorry to hear it, Kevin. We've been there, and know how hard it is.

My thoughts are with you. It is hard to lose a family member. I lost one in September to cancer.

Oh Kevin the hardest part about life is death, and you are both so lucky his passing was as such! My jack Russell terrorist under the covers in her 1966 Overlander is 13 now and still dragging me around the neighborhood , but is getting near the end and I feel ya! I can't imagine life without her but someday soon must!
Good luck! I'm new to the forum and you are my first post!
Cheers! Surlyhobohemian Shelly

Our old friend is lingering on and on.
We can only hope he goes while napping in the sun, he gave you a gift!

It's a sad week, but you'll always remember the great times!

So sorry for you. The pain and sadness are real and will remain with you for a long time. The only consolation is the knowledge that he was not stolen or lost but was with you. Take care of yourself.

On a happier note, I was getting out Christmas decorations last night, and came across a picture frame ornament from Hallmark. In the frame was a picture of Baity at about 18 months. It was Baity's first Christmas with me. It was a sad and special moment.

There will be many moments like that. Quinn's life with us was like that and is still like that. Dwell on the good feelings....
