What a cutie! He certainly looks to be enjoying his new home. How much does he weigh now?

That's a MOOSE if I ever saw one. Had a great Siamese named Moose. He lived to be 20. I'd go with that name. My traveling mates are named Paden (after the town where he came from) and Imma (chicken)......after the little scratching thing she often does. Go with what fits them.

The puppy formerly known as Moose

His official name is Luc (pronounced luke). While Moose was a descriptive name it had a couple of problems. First, while as a puppy he looked like a moose with long gangling legs and big ears, he won't look like that when he is grown. Second, when he is grown he will be big enough for the name moose to fit but I don't want him to be named based solely on his size. Maybe my aversion has something to do with the fact that I was a head taller than other kids my age for most of my childhood. Always thought my size was the least important fact about me.

We wanted to go with Robert (with the French pronunciation, "row-bare") but just couldn't get used to it when calling him, etc. So Luc it is. He learned it quite quickly and even can tell the difference between "Luc" and "look".

You could always add Jean so that when you "really mean it" and call him, he hears Jean-Luc, and gives full attention. This always worked with my kids: Stephen Joseph or Susanne Adele or Jordan Marcus or Molly Elizabeth was always a stopper over plain Steve or Suz or Jord or Molly. Jean-Luc sounds so French as well ~G

I wouldn't have thought it possible, but I think he's actually better looking now than in the first picture. What a handsome guy.

I would have to say from the picture that this is not a spoiled rotten puppy. Nor is he overfed from the looks of it either. And he sure doesn't look that happy or comfortable either.

What a wonderful life we provide for our little (generally speaking of course) friends. Has he been introduced to aluminum yet?

Barry

He spent his first six hours with us riding on the floor in front of Marian as we drove home in our AS Motorhome. He thought that was just fine.

Luc probably thinks "so this is how you get to heaven, in an Airstream motorhome".

Although, I sure hope you open the curtains next time you go driving...or you'll be going to heaven sooner than you think!

He was helping with the pre-departure checklist. Open curtains is one of the items

You were just testing Luc to see if he'd notice the curtains were drawn.
