"Yes...he is a Springer and I can't wait to see what he pounces on the first time. He is getting more used to the house and is bounding up and down the stairs with ease now. He got more new toys last night and they are a world of wonder for him. He is such a happy go lucky little fella"
We predict he will be a natural "birder"---will point and lift his nose skyward as geese fly overhead----he won't know why, but he will do it.

Beautiful dog! I'd love to have a springer someday, but I have heard that their energy level can be a bit much for some. My hands are full with our eskimo Barclay, who is 2 now and never seems to stop. The list of things he's destroyed around the house would roll on for pages! I tell people he has all the energy and intelligence of a border collie, with none of the desire to please! Ah dogs, you never know what you're going to get!

My Springer loved the water and would dive off the dock on to a floating raft. She would fetch a ball till your arm fell off. The negative was she communicated by whining! I know you have many happy days ahead of you.

So far I haven't heard a bark out of him. He is so gentle and spends him time divided between attacking toys, sleeping and cuddling. It's snowing here today and he bounded around in it and slid across the deck in excitement. He has picked out a rug by the fireplace as his spot.
My Springer, who just passed away, played ball until your arm fell off also. He loved his ball. The past few years his old legs wouldn't let him run after it any longer but he slept with his ball. Oliver has been learning how to retrieve the ball and I just love it!

Thank You everyone for the good wishes. Little Oliver is taking over the house now and loves the yard. He attacks his toys and tosses them around and then hops in my lap and cuddles.....I just love him! He has been romping in the snow today and seems to like it.
