It was meant to be, I think. Lily needed a home and I was pining for a sweet dog.
Couldn't love her more, and she has become a special member of the family. The grandkids have gotten used to her size and exuberance and she clearly considers them man-pups to be played with.
Her ingrained desire to please has made her very easy to manage.
You just never know what a day might bring.
