I agree. I was struck by the richness of color in both photos, I especially liked the first one.
I have found with my digital cameras, I'm often better off turning the flash off. I get real color where otherwise the flash overexposes the image. Having come from the (VERY amature) film side of things, that was different for me.

great pics, I think I probably have a 100 of our critters relaxing--being bassets it happens a lot

Yeah this morning they were tearing arounf the house, Mickey the cat ambushes them and then it is game on!! of course 10 minutes later they were all laid out on the tile floor!
