Introducing our newest Streamin' buddy
This weekend, we met and picked up Baxter from a local shelter. He is anxiously waiting for Spring to arrive so that he and his older (and bigger brother, by about 10lbs) can go Streamin' with us.
For those who have met Charlie last year, yes, Baxter looks nearly identical to Charlie.
In this photo, I caught him taking a nap.

Baxter has a really great disposition. Totally unlike his brother Charlie, but thankfully they both get along fairly well for only knowing each other about 24 hours.

Congrats! He looks like a doll, and knowing he came from a shelter and ended up in an Airstream family, he is obviously a lucky dog!

Congrats on the little guy.
Nell, our recent addition to the fam, is also looking forward to spending her first night in an Airstream -- come to think of it, it'll be ours as well.
I suppose she'll be reserving the side gaucho for herself, since she likes stretching out as long as possible. We'll see...

Steph, it's so funny. After three years of hard racing and living in a cold, wet cage... all she'd wanna do is soak up the joys of retirement, right?
But the moment she falls asleep, she starts growling and her feet are moving a hundred miles an hour. I'll be damned if she's not dreaming of running at the track!

Thanks...shelters are the ONLY place I personally consider getting pets from. To each their own though, not to slam folks who don't.
Now, I'm not a major tree hugger (ok, a minor one ), but I did enjoy these PETA propaganda items:
PETA.org // PETA's Guide to the ABCs
PETA.org // PETA's Guide to the ABCs
In the end, both adopted pooches are simply wonderful, as was the Shep mix I had for 15 give or take years.

I was able to catch the dynamic duo in action this morning. Baxter is on the left, Charlie is on the right.....
