Give ME the Life of a Dog...

There are lucky people.
There are lucky dogs.
There are lucky people with lucky dogs.

When you have two dogs that travel with you, where ever you tow your Airstream, find those special spots that are their home, as well.

We have never received a complaint from our Blue Heelers:

It is too cold.
It is too wet.
It is too windy.
It is too dusty.
It is too hot.
It is too far from a toilet, showers and fresh water and other hookups.

Nope. None of the above. They know the rules. You stay in your Tiny Homes and we will stay in our Tiny Home.

When someone says I smell like a Dog, I take it at as a compliment and thank them. Showers are for the lost travelers asking us for directions out of the Hell Hole where we are camping and act as if we speak a dialect of.... southern Wyoming Cowboy.

"Howdy Partner... need something scratched?"

When our Heelers need to go outside to do their duty and find a bush... well, maybe there are exceptions, but not many.

Taken just now. These are the two that we literally rescued off the street in front of a local hospital. They are in their favorite spot, on my lap sleeping solidly at the end of the day.

This is just fantastic. I'm with you 100% - we took the dive into camping with an AS is 2015 with 1 thing in mind - sharing our travels with 5 rescued dachshunds. They love to go and are as much a part of our family as our human kids. Dachshunds are not known for bark-less behavior but I take them singly or in pairs to keep the noise down. Sometimes they get used to others but it's the other times that are challenging. We take a portable pen and let them air out and a Sportbrella to block their view of others. Good times.

I hear you. Fado (correct?) was surely special and well loved - leaves a big hole. You can’t run out of love for these creatures who love us with such relentless, unconditional love.

Enjoy your new buddy!
