My husband picked it up at Petco. I have also seen them online at Foster and Smith as 'elite exercise pen'. The door is a really nice addition!

We have several x-pens and made a big corral around the door side of the trailer, spanning the length of the trailer and pretty much covering our large outdoor mat. We had a short puppy height x-pen and we cut a panel down to fit behind the trailer steps so that is all secure.
Because we also do dog shows this has been tested quite a bit. It works pretty well, but because we have a gregarious, strong bull and terrier breed, we tend to be sitting out in chairs or at our table in the area when we let the dogs out. They appreciate the freedom however limited it may be. Photo is from a dog show at the Expo center in Sacramento. (there was a sun shade installed in the area that we pulled into, its not part of our rig.)

Taller fence

Has anyone tried to create a pen outside their trailer with taller types of fencing? I'd like a small area for them to relax, but the xpens are little more than a speed bump for my girls.

I have a strange idea in my head for an acordian style gate that would deploy and attach to the side of the trailer, but it is still on the drawing board. I'm thinking the weight of a taller pen would be an issue.

Very nice! The only downside we had to this on our last trip was the edge of the pen touched the trailer and made a little rub mark. I padded it with some cloth, I just need to remember to put a little bumper wherever it touches the trailer.

Carmilla, I can't imagine anything you could permanently mount and then expand. Even an X-Pen is pretty heavy.
