Dog Friendly Listing
I've been searching and browsing the threads, and I was wondering- have forum members ever tried to put together a listing of dog friendly and dog welcoming camping sites? I see a lot of "don't go here" but where are the good ones? Is this something we could start? Perhaps an airstream version of Bringfido.com.

I've never seen one pop up in the new posts list but I have not searched for it either... 2air.. where are you? He'll find it if it can be found.
I use the internet. I start looking in two places:
Good Sam RV Club
RV Park Reviews :: Home
These sometimes lead to park websites and sometimes I end up calling them to find out. These (and other guide books) are good sources to look into because they tell you more about the campsites... ie, do you really want to stay there! I'd say over half the RVer's out there have dogs.. so I'd guess that most parks except them.
Although I like the idea of an RVfido.com!

Thanks for the sites! I especially like the RV reviews- I value the info from people who have stayed there. We should start a site where pet lovers rate camp grounds with "Rover's Rivets"

Never had a problem. Never been turned away because of our two standard poodles. Leashes and poo pickup are a no brainer.

Do you find that they are truely "dog friendly" or just "dog tolerant?"

I don't have a dog, but my observation is many RVs travel with pets. In fact I know of several people who RV so they can take their dogs with them.
So I'd say dog friendly in general. The exceptions probably would be noted in rvparkreviews.

The reason we bought an Airstream! Dogs are always on board. We have never been anywhere that was NOT dog friendly. Dogs with manners are welcome anywhere.

Of course, if you buy the Woodall's Guide, there's a search parameter on the CD called "Pet friendly"...

I don't think our cats are going to appreciate Rover's Rivets.
However I think they would see the humor in Rover's Air Steamer's.
